An extension of how I see the world

The Craft Man

Armed with graphic design software and my trusty X-Tool cutter-engraver, I shape materials into meaning. Posters, portraits, wood carvings, model creations, toys for grandchildren and friends, each piece finds its place somewhere between curiosity and care.

It’s a rewarding kind of labour. Sometimes it keeps me out from under the good lady Paula’s feet. Other times, it makes her a hobby widow. Both are noble sacrifices. Both are evidence of a life textured by creativity, companionship, and just enough mischief to be interesting.

This isn’t just pastime, it’s practice. An extension of how I see the world: each surface is waiting to be marked, and every idea deserves to be made tangible.
If it can be cut, engraved, or imagined—I’ll give it form. Whether you’re kin, curious, or ready to part with coin, welcome to the Smithy. No entitlement. Just honest craft, offered in good faith.
